I haven't left this house since Saturday (with the exception of a trip to Panera last night.) I certainly would have taken care of business earlier, but it was something of a mother-daughter venture that needed to be put aside until after my mom's weekly Tuesday night class had passed. In any case, she is willing to run the errands for me while I'm in Iowa, so I guess all is well.
It has been delightful being a bum for the past week or so... usually I get a little too antsy to get back to a normal schedule but I think I have mastered the art of enjoying my free time and being home. It's funny to think of people being in school while I'm still on this extended break... that rarely happens to me; usually I'm the one heading back sooner than everyone else. I'm grateful that I don't have breaks this long every year.
Anyway, I'm super excited to go to Iowa tomorrow! I haven't seen Taylor's apartment or church or anything yet. I hate that we're not in school with each other anymore. I'm so used to her being home whenever I'm home; now that she has a full time job, it came down to 4-5 days here around Christmastime. I guess that's better than it could have been...
Oh and I'm still waiting on that group list my program promised to send. By the time I get it, it won't really matter much anyway! Bahh
